OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

Operation Christmas Child is a Christian charity based out of North Carolina through the Samaritan’s Purse foundation. It’s all about packing shoeboxes for children, packing both necessities and commodities they otherwise would not have access to in these remote and underdeveloped countries.

It’s a great cause – I have personally had the pleasure of volunteering at the packaging plant in NC. I've put a link to their website below if you want to check it out (you should).

The church held a soup and chili cook-off for fundraising the night before packing all the shoeboxes, and the kids decorated the entire church by making little Christmas ornaments and arts and crafts.
